None of that means you are failing. It means the schedule you are carrying was built for two people and you are doing it alone.
What the day looks like
Monday through Friday, your loved one joins a structured day: morning snack, group activities and cognitive games, senior-appropriate exercise, a hot lunch, an afternoon snack, and companionship — with staff supervision at a 6:1 ratio in a licensed social adult day care center. We are not a medical facility; we provide non-medical supervision, cueing and engagement.

What respite costs
Respite uses our regular day program rates — $95/day with a 3-day weekly minimum, or $85/day on the 5-day monthly plan paid in advance. Meals, snacks and activities are included; transportation is priced separately.
Starting is three steps
- Book a tour — Wednesday to Friday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, at least 48 hours ahead.
- Complete the short pre-tour intake so we know who we are meeting.
- Pick your weekly days and start — most families begin about two weeks after the tour.

What is daytime respite care?
Respite care is planned time off for the family caregiver. Your loved one spends the day with us — meals, activities, companionship and supervision — while you work, rest, travel or handle appointments, and comes home at the end of the day.
How much does respite care cost in Boca Raton?
Daytime respite uses our regular day program rates: $95 per day with a 3-day weekly minimum, or $85 per day on the 5-day monthly plan. Door-to-door transportation within 8 driving miles starts at $35 per day.
Can I use it for just one day?
Our program runs on a 3-day weekly minimum, so we are not a drop-in babysitting service. Most respite families build a steady weekly rhythm — the same days every week — which is also what works best for someone with memory changes.
Do you take people with dementia or Alzheimer's?
Yes. Many of our participants live with memory changes. We are a social adult day care center, not a medical facility, so we provide supervision, cueing, redirection and structured engagement rather than skilled nursing. If someone needs more support, our Enhanced Support tiers exist for exactly that, after an assessment.
How soon can we start?
Tours are by appointment Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, booked at least 48 hours in advance. After the tour and pre-enrollment paperwork, most families start within about two weeks.
Which areas do you serve?
Families come to us from Boca Raton, Highland Beach, Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach and the surrounding Palm Beach County communities. Our transportation service area is 8 driving miles from 2120 N. Dixie Highway, Boca Raton; families outside that radius are welcome to drive in.
Are you closed any days?
We are closed the last Thursday of every month, plus posted holidays. Everything else is a normal Monday-through-Friday program day.
