Memory-Supportive Adult Day Care in Boca Raton

This is a daytime adult day program, not a residential memory care facility. Participants return home each evening. If someone you love is living with dementia or Alzheimer's, they can spend weekdays with us in a calm, familiar routine with trained staff and other people their age. You get your working hours, your errands and your rest back. They keep their home, their bed and their family.

A day program, not a memory care residence

The difference matters more than any other thing on this page, so here it is plainly. A memory care community is a place someone moves into and lives in, with round-the-clock staffing and a monthly rate that includes housing. We are open weekday daytime hours. Your loved one arrives in the morning and goes home in the evening. There is no overnight stay, no medication administration and no skilled nursing here — we provide supervision, cueing, redirection and structured engagement in a social setting.

Families choose the day program when the person is still safe at home with family nearby, and what is actually missing is a structured day for them and breathing room for the caregiver. Families choose residential care when someone needs supervision overnight or clinical care we do not provide. If that is your situation, we will tell you.

What a memory-supportive day looks like

Arrival and a morning snack, with the same greeting and the same seat — the transition into the building is the part that matters most for someone with memory changes. Then a group activity while everyone is at their sharpest. Gentle exercise. A hot lunch at the same time every day. A quieter afternoon block with music, reminiscence or small-group games, an afternoon snack, then pickup. Same order, every day — because knowing what comes next is the difference between a good day and an anxious one.

Who this works well for

Someone living at home, with early or moderate memory changes, who can participate in a group setting with staff support; who is safe with supervision and cueing rather than hands-on clinical care; and whose family needs daytime hours covered. Many families come to us precisely because the person is alone and unstimulated all day while an adult child works.

When someone needs more than we provide

We are non-medical and day-only. We do not administer medication, provide skilled nursing, treat Alzheimer's disease, or supervise overnight. If someone needs those things, or needs a secured residential setting, saying so early is more useful to your family than an enrollment that falls apart in week three.

Program A and Enhanced Support

Program A is our core adult day program, and it is where most participants with memory changes belong. Some need more frequent cueing, redirection and one-to-one attention than the standard program provides. That is what our Enhanced Support tiers are for — all-inclusive daily rates starting at $185, $225 and $265, set after an assessment rather than guessed at over the phone. An Enhanced rate replaces the standard daily rate; it is never added on top of it.

What it costs

$95/day standard (3-day weekly minimum) or $85/day on the 5-day Monthly Advance plan, meals and activities included. You are paying for days, not for a room — which is the whole reason a day program costs a fraction of a residential monthly rate. Door-to-door transportation within our service area is priced separately and starts at $35/day.

Your first week

Day one is short on expectations: we learn the person's routine, what calms them and what unsettles them, and you tell us what a hard evening at home looks like. Days two and three are usually the hardest — the building is unfamiliar and the resistance at drop-off is normal. By days four and five most participants have found a seat, a table and one or two people they look for. Families most often tell us the change shows up at home first: a better appetite, a calmer evening, and a caregiver who slept.

When you are ready, the enrollment steps and paperwork are written out in plain language, and nothing starts before a tour and an assessment.
