Pricing & Daily Rates

What is the daily rate?+
Adult Day Care is currently offered at introductory Founding Member pricing through December 31, 2026: 3-Day Full-Day $95/day (3-day minimum per week), 5-Day Full-Week $85/day (paid monthly in advance — our lowest daily rate and reserves your seat), and Half-Day $80/day (up to 4 hours). Standard pricing begins January 1, 2027: $120 full day, $90/day for the 5-day program, $95 half day. Enhanced Support tiers for participants who benefit from additional non-medical supervision start at $185/day (Level I), $225/day (Level II), and $265/day (Level III), determined by our pre-enrollment assessment. Boca Raton Adult Day Care Center is a licensed social adult day care center and does not provide skilled nursing, therapy, medication administration, or medical treatment.
Are prices changing on January 1, 2027?+
Yes. Current rates are introductory Founding Member rates. Beginning January 1, 2027, standard Program A pricing is $120/day full day, $90/day for the 5-day full-week program, and $95/day half day (up to 4 hours). The 3-day weekly minimum is unchanged, and Enhanced Support and transportation rates are not affected. Your applicable rate and any rate-protection terms will be stated in your enrollment or membership agreement.
How is Enhanced Support priced?+
Level placement is set at assessment based on the participant's non-medical supervision, cueing, redirection, and engagement needs. Starting rates: Level I — $185/day · Level II — $225/day · Level III — $265/day. Enhanced Support is a complete daily rate that replaces the standard rate — it is not an add-on. Reassessed every 90 days or upon a significant change in condition. See the full Pricing & Programs page.
Is there a discount for full-week or monthly commitment?+
Yes. The 5-day full-week program (paid monthly in advance) carries our lowest daily rate — $85/day during the introductory period versus $95/day, and $90/day under standard pricing beginning January 1, 2027 versus $120/day. Attending more days provides the strongest value. Veterans, first responders, and educators receive an additional 5% off the monthly rate with verification.
Do you offer half-day rates?+
Yes — half-day attendance is up to 4 hours per day with the same 3-day weekly minimum. Introductory half-day pricing is $80 per attendance day through December 31, 2026; the standard half-day rate is $95 beginning January 1, 2027. Subject to scheduling and seat availability.
What is included in the daily rate?+
Supervised programming, structured activities, social engagement, snacks, lunch, hydration, restroom assistance, medication reminders (self-administered), wellness checks, and end-of-day caregiver handoff. Transportation, enhanced care, and outings are billed separately.

Payment & Billing

How does private pay work?+
Most families pay privately. You may pay weekly (Friday for the following week), monthly in advance (1st of the month), or per-day at the Standard rate. Monthly Advance auto-pay receives the $10/day discount and a reserved seat.
What payment methods do you accept?+
ACH bank draft (preferred — no fee), Zelle (preferred — no fee), credit/debit card (6.5% processing fee added), HSA/FSA where applicable, check, and money order. A signed Auto-Pay Authorization is required for monthly billing.
Are there any enrollment fees or deposits?+
Yes. Every new participant pays two one-time charges at enrollment: a $75 Registration Fee (non-refundable; covers intake, records setup, and administrative processing) and, when applicable, a non-refundable $250 Behavioral Deposit (applied only when required based on assessed needs and enrollment terms; helps cover extraordinary cleaning, property damage, or supervision needs). After enrollment, families pay only for the days their loved one attends, plus optional transportation if selected. See the Pricing page.
What happens if I miss a day?+
All program fees, registration fees, and transportation fees are non-refundable (the $250 Behavioral Deposit is also non-refundable when applicable). If you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice, no refund is issued but an account credit is applied for use on a future attendance day, subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled day, or a no-show without proper notice, forfeit the day with no refund and no credit.
What is your cancellation / refund policy?+
Program payments — including tuition, transportation, and registration — are non-refundable; the $250 Behavioral Deposit is also non-refundable when applicable. Cancel 48 or more hours in advance and you receive an account credit toward a future day (subject to availability). Cancel under 48 hours or no-show and the day is forfeited with no refund and no credit. See Center Policies.
What about late pickup fees?+
Pickup after 5:00 PM: $1/minute for the first 15 minutes; $2/minute thereafter. After 5:30 PM, after-hours staffing fee of $50 applies in addition to per-minute charges. Repeated late pickups may result in program review.
What is the late payment policy?+
Invoices are due upon receipt. Balances unpaid after 5 days incur a $35 late fee. Balances unpaid after 15 days may result in suspension of services until the balance is current. Returned ACH/check fee: $35.
How much does transportation cost?+
Transportation is an optional add-on for approved Adult Day Care participants whose verified pickup/drop-off address is within our designated service area around our facility at 2120 N. Dixie Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33431 (route review required): Level I $35/day round-trip · Level II $45/day round-trip · Level III $55/day round-trip. Final level is set by mobility, exact route, and assessment. A city or ZIP code alone does not guarantee eligibility.
Can I download a payment sheet?+
Yes — download the .xlsx (with built-in cost calculator) or the printable PDF (great for sharing with family or printing for signature).

Insurance & Funding Sources

Does insurance cover services?+
Coverage is not guaranteed. It depends on plan eligibility, prior authorization, contracts, and credentialing. Traditional Medicare generally does NOT cover non-medical adult day care. We will help you verify benefits with your plan.
Do you accept Medicaid Long-Term Care (LTC)?+
Possibly, depending on provider model, plan, and credentialing. Florida Medicaid LTC plans we may work with include Sunshine Health, Humana, Aetna, Molina, Simply Healthcare, and United Healthcare. Please call with your plan name and member ID and we'll confirm.
What about VA benefits?+
Veterans may have access to Aid & Attendance, Veteran-Directed Care (VDC), and Community Care Network benefits that support adult day services. Eligibility is determined by the VA. We can help you understand what to ask your VA caseworker and provide documentation.
Do you bill Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCi)?+
Many LTCi policies reimburse adult day care. Common carriers include Genworth, John Hancock, Mutual of Omaha, Transamerica, and New York Life. We provide attendance logs, invoices, and plan-of-care documentation to support your claim. Reimbursement is between you and your insurer.
Do you accept Medicare Advantage?+
Some Medicare Advantage plans include adult day services as a supplemental benefit under the CHRONIC Care Act. We'll help you verify with your plan — typically requires prior authorization.
What about Alzheimer's Disease Initiative (ADI) or Community Care for the Elderly (CCE) funding?+
Florida's ADI and CCE programs (administered through Area Agency on Aging — AAA of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast) may fund adult day services for qualifying participants. There may be a waitlist. We can help direct you to the right intake line.

Program, Hours & Logistics

Three (3) days per week minimum — designed to encourage consistency, routine, and meaningful social engagement. Research shows that participants attending 3+ days/week experience better cognitive and emotional outcomes than sporadic attendance.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Closed weekends and federal holidays (New Year's, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving + day after, Christmas Eve + Day). Transportation may be available before and after program hours subject to scheduling and assessment.
How do I start?+
Four steps: (1) Tour, (2) Intake paperwork, (3) In-person pre-enrollment assessment, (4) Enrollment & first day. Typical timeline: 7–14 days from tour to first day. Start enrollment.
What do participants need to bring?+
Change of clothes, any prescribed mobility aids (walker, wheelchair, cane), prescription medications in original pharmacy bottles (locked storage on-site), incontinence supplies if needed, hearing aids/glasses, and a small comfort item if desired. We provide meals, snacks, and all activity supplies.
Are caregivers screened?+
Yes. Florida Level II background screening (AHCA-compliant, fingerprinted) for every direct-care staff member, plus current CPR, First Aid, AED, Alzheimer's/dementia training, HIPAA training, and ongoing safety education.
Can I tour the facility?+
Yes — tours are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11AM–3PM by appointment with 48-hour advance notice. Private tours outside these hours can be requested for an additional scheduling fee.
What happens in a medical emergency?+
Trained staff are CPR/First Aid/AED certified. We follow a documented emergency protocol: stabilize, call 911 if warranted, notify emergency contact immediately, and document. Participants must have a current emergency contact and physician on file. We do not provide skilled nursing — medical events route to EMS/hospital.
Do you provide meals?+
Yes — a hot lunch and two snacks are included daily. Standard, low-sodium, diabetic, soft/puréed, and common allergy-aware menus are accommodated. Special dietary needs must be documented at assessment.
