Why Delray Beach families choose us

Delray Beach families usually come to us for one of two reasons: the adult child works in Boca or Fort Lauderdale and the morning drop-off has to be on the way, or a spouse is doing the caregiving alone and cannot keep it up five days a week. Coming south on Federal or Dixie puts you at 2120 N. Dixie Highway before the Glades Road traffic builds, which is why most Delray families pick an early arrival window.

Most of the people we serve live within a short drive — south Delray near Linton Boulevard, the Atlantic Avenue corridor, Tropic Isle, Del-Aire and the communities off Military Trail.

  • · Meals, snacks and hydration included in the daily rate.
  • · Daily social, cognitive and gentle exercise programming.
  • · Door-to-door transportation for addresses within 8 driving miles of the center — we confirm yours before enrollment.
  • · Enhanced Support tiers for people who need more help, after assessment.
  • · A consistent weekly routine, which is what memory changes respond to best.

Getting here from Delray Beach

From the Atlantic Avenue area, Federal Highway south to Dixie is the simplest run and typically takes about 15 minutes outside of season. From west Delray, Military Trail to Yamato or Glades is usually faster than I-95. Our transportation radius is measured as 8 driving miles from the center, so eastern and southern Delray addresses often qualify while west-of-Jog addresses generally do not — we check your exact address before you enroll rather than after.

What Delray Beach families ask us most

Almost every Delray inquiry starts with days per week. Because Standard enrollment carries a 3-day weekly minimum, families splitting the week between an adult day program and a private aide usually run three days here and cover the rest at home. Families who need the full workweek covered move to the 5-day Monthly Advance plan, which is the lower per-day rate. We do not require a Medicaid waiver, and we do not bill insurance — enrollment is private pay.

What it costs

$95/day on the Standard program (3-day weekly minimum) or $85/day on the 5-day Monthly Advance plan. Full breakdown, including transportation and one-time fees, is on our cost page.

Questions from Delray Beach families

Do you serve families from Delray Beach?

Yes. Our center is in Boca Raton at 2120 N. Dixie Highway, about 15 minutes from Delray Beach, and we enroll participants from Delray Beach and the surrounding Palm Beach County communities.

Is transportation available from Delray Beach?

Partly. Our transportation service area is 8 driving miles from 2120 N. Dixie Highway in Boca Raton, and parts of Delray Beach fall outside it. We confirm your exact address before enrollment; families outside the radius are welcome to drive in.

What does it cost?

The Standard Adult Day Program is $95 per day with a 3-day weekly minimum, and the Monthly Advance Program is $85 per day for 5 days a week paid in advance. Meals, snacks and activities are included. Enhanced Support tiers start at $185 per day after an assessment.

What happens during the day?

A structured weekday program: morning snack, social and cognitive activities, senior-appropriate exercise, a hot lunch, an afternoon snack, and companionship — with staff supervision at a 6:1 ratio. We are a social adult day care center, so support is non-medical.

How do we visit?

Tours are by appointment Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, booked at least 48 hours in advance. We are closed the last Thursday of every month and on posted holidays.

How soon can someone start?

After the tour and pre-enrollment paperwork, most families begin about two weeks later.

Are you closer than the adult day programs in Delray itself?

Not always in miles, but often in minutes — we sit on Dixie Highway just north of Boca's downtown, so the drive avoids Atlantic Avenue. What families tell us matters more is the 6:1 staff ratio and that the same faces greet their parent every morning.

Can we start with a trial week?

We enroll on a 3-day weekly minimum rather than a trial day, because routine is what actually settles someone in. Most families see the difference in the second week, not the first.
